    How to Collect the Hiking Pin

    Search for SummitLynx in the “App Store” or “Google Play,” install it, and launch the app. If you have a Facebook account, you can log in with it. If not, simply create a SummitLynx account.

    In the menu under “Hiking Badge,” you can see which goals you need to achieve to earn the badge.

    And you’re off! Once you’ve reached your destination, open the app and make sure GPS is turned on. Select the “Tour Log” category, tap the “+” in the lower-right corner to mark a tour point, and add a photo and a short description. Tip: If you like the photo, post it right away on Facebook. Otherwise, simply mark the destination as completed.

    About the Digital Hiking Pin

    To the hills - ready, go!

    As a reward, you’ll receive a certificate that is automatically mailed to you after you’ve achieved your hiking goals (e.g., completing a themed trail, a hiking tour, etc.). The “gold, silver, bronze” hiking pin can be picked up at the visitor information centers in Thermen- & Vulkanland.

    Bronze: 3 trails, Silver: 5 trails, Gold: 10 trails
